Accommodations

Victoria is a top rank destination in the summer. As such, we recommend that you book accommodations with plenty of time in advance. Although we have special rates in the dormitory rooms at the University’s campus and in some hotels downtown, you are welcome to make your own reservations.

Staying at UVic

By staying on campus, you will be walking distance from the event’s venue and can enjoy UVic’s beautiful green campus. Visiting Finnerty Gardens or going for an afternoon walk in the woods on Uvic’s trail network are great ways to spend your evenings. There are single dormitory and four-bedroom cluster units available for booking. To book a reservation click here.

If you are interested in sharing a 4 bedroom deluxe with other participants, please contact Anne Shaffer (anne.shaffer@coastalwatershedinstitute.org).

By staying in downtown, you will enjoy many of the summer activities and will have the opportunity to explore the city. University of Victoria is about 40 minutes away in public transit and will cost 5 CAD/day. Below are hotels that have provided discount for the workshop’s participants.
